Hello hello,

FIBDA 2009

I'll be present this weekend, october 24 and 25 in Lisbon, to visit the FIBDA, and will bring the Abade João book.
So if anyone is also going send me a note or comment and maybe we can meet there.


Italy trip
I went to Rome, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Venice.
It was very exciting to see!
Short trip, but it was a very good experience!
My history lover side was very happy, going to places like the coliseum, and all the old city, medieval cities, and such amazing art to look at.
I took my sketchbook, and i hope i have the time to share with you some photos of it.

Abade Joao

My book O Abade Joao, a book for childrens, was presented on September 8th, at Cãmara Municipal de Montemor-o-Velho, 17h, and my show opened at 18h in the Galeria da Câmara, with the original illustrations of the book.
After that, me and the other two authors signed the book.

After that it was also presented in my town, on October 16th and it was very good, because, the theater group O Celeiro, wich i'm also a member, but just for the graphic part, dramatized some parts of the book, and it went very well.
It's an amazing feeling to see the characters come to life!

Versos de Respirar

This is the new book i'll be presenting at Ofinica Municipal de Coimbra on October 31, at 15h.
It was written by José António Franco, and illustrated and designed by me.
It's a collection of small poems and it's a children's book.
It's a small book, hardcover ( first one, yay!) but i hope you enjoy it.
After the presentation i will put some photos of the book, i promise.

Interview

I will have a mini interview, plus some illustrations from my portfolio in (a)PS Arte Digital magazine.
It's a special number dedicated to Digital drawing and painting. The cover is by the master Andreas Rocha.
